A Massachusetts man was sentenced this week in a Portland, Maine, courtroom for a drive-by shooting and subsequent police chase that involved hitting a school bus.
3 Massachusetts Men Pleaded Guilty for a Drive-by Shooting in Maine
Jason Johnson-Rivera, 20, is sentenced to 10 years in prison, to be followed by four years of supervised release. Johnson-Rivera pleaded guilty in January.
The U.S. Attorney, District of Maine, reports that two co-defendants also pleaded guilty in this case:
- Joshua Estrada (aka ‘Mac’), 20
- Yancarlos Abrante (aka ‘Glizzy’), 22
They are awaiting sentencing, which is expected later this year.
