CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Heavy rain moved through western Massachusetts Monday and Tuesday, with totals reaching over an inch in some areas.
According to the National Weather Service, Turners Falls recorded the highest total with 1.76 inches of rain, followed by Ashfield and Colrain at 1.57 inches, and Greenfield at 1.54 inches.
Across Hampden County, rainfall totals were generally lower, with Westfield reportedly the highest at 0.98 inches. Tolland saw 0.95 inches, while Springfield recorded 0.70 inches and Chicopee measured 0.68 inches.
