Massachusetts State Troopers Rescue Woman Held Against Her Will in Erratic Uber Driver’s Chaotic Rampage

Massachusetts State Police responded to a 911 call from a woman who reported being trapped inside an Uber vehicle. The caller stated that the driver was allegedly operating erratically, speeding, and had struck a guardrail. She further alleged that the driver refused to pull over, had locked the doors, and would not allow her to exit.

A trooper from the Holden Barracks proceeded to the reported drop-off location and located the vehicle on a dead-end street. The female passenger was able to exit the vehicle and flee to safety as officers arrived.

According to the police report, the driver then turned the vehicle around and drove toward the marked cruisers, swerving to avoid them. He continued to the opposite end of the dead-end road, turned around again, and accelerated toward the officers a second time. The vehicle then crashed through a fence and into a homeowner’s yard. After backing up, the driver sped past the troopers, yelling profanities and striking one of the cruisers…
