Healey administration awards $1M in grants for river and wetland restoration

BOSTON, Mass. (WWLP) – The Healey-Driscoll Administration announced over $1 million in grants to six regional restoration partnerships across Massachusetts.

The funding aims to help communities restore rivers and wetlands, reduce flooding, improve water quality and strengthen climate resilience.

The grants are managed through the Department of Fish & Game’s (DFG) Division of Ecological Restoration (DER) Partnerships Program.
