NORTHBOROUGH – When plans for 4 West Main Street are decided, and when the current site of the Northborough Fire Station on Pierce Street is re-used, Northborough officials are anticipating a municipal parking shortage downtown.
“Whatever happens with 4 West Main, of course, they’re going to be relying on some of our parking – our municipal parking on Blake Street. And any businesses once the Fire Department moves out,” said Town Administrator Stephanie Bacon.
So, Northborough is planning ahead. During the latest Northborough Select Board meeting, Bacon said that the town was in the early stages of an agreement with Trinity Church – located near Cumberland Farms, directly in the town’s center – to license out spaces…
