Following the closure of Anna Maria College in Paxton, Assumption University is launching a bachelor’s and master’s degree program in social work.
The programs, which will begin this fall, will be the only campus-based programs in Central Massachusetts.
“Graduates from these programs will fill critical gaps in the workforce, pairing essential skills and knowledge with a shared commitment to the common good,” Assumption President Greg Weiner said. “We look forward to providing a pathway for Anna Maria students to complete their studies, and to offering these exciting opportunities to current and future Assumption students.”…
