2 dead in crash that shut I-290 east in Marlborough IDed as mother, adult son

The two people who died in a car crash that shut down Interstate 290 east in Marlborough, Massachusetts, on Monday have been identified as a mother and her adult son.

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office identified them Thursday as Tyngsborough resident Mark Leakeas, 59, and Dracut resident Arlene Leakeas, 79.
