A Massachusetts police officer placed himself in the path of an oncoming wrong-way driver on Interstate 195 Friday, stopping the vehicle as it crashed into his cruiser.
The incident unfolded on the westbound side of I-195 in Mattapoisett, according to the Mattapoisett Police Department.
