FRAMINGHAM, MA (WGGB/WSHM) — Massachusetts State Police said nearly 6,000 total citations were issued during a three-day traffic enforcement operation focused on dangerous driving on major roadways and in cross-border areas.
Operation Wicked Safe focused on Interstates 90, 91, 84, 93, 95 and 395, Route 146 and other priority roadways. State Police said the operation was developed in response to an increase in dangerous driving in October amid seasonal tourism, school routines, and changing weather and road conditions.
