OXFORD, Mass. – You’d think going for a swim would be the last thing on one’s mind this time of year, but not for a group of people in Oxford. Many braved the Polar Plunge at Carbuncle Pond. The fire department actually had to cut through four inches of ice in order for participants to get into the water. Last year’s plunge didn’t have any ice.
