WORCESTER, Mass. – Some folks in Central Massachusetts got outside to enjoy all things winter this weekend. Saturday on the Common, the Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District hosted their Winter Festival. The afternoon featured fun, winter-themed activities like skating on the oval, a 25-foot alpine slide, and even some arts and crafts. It was a great day for the winter festival, as the city was blessed with seasonable temperatures and sunny skies. The goal was to get people out in the city during what is usual a rather quiet time.
