This week marks 46 years since Blizzard of ’78 slammed New England

NASHUA, N.H. – This week marks 46 years since the incredible Blizzard of ’78, the benchmark by which all storms of our generation are measured. The storm itself started as an extra-tropical low system off the coast of South Carolina, and as it wandered north, it combined with bitterly cold Arctic air nearby.
