The Massachusetts Chapter of the American Chinese United Association hosted its 2nd annual Chinese New Year festival with an array of events celebrating all things Chinese culture and the year of the Dragon 2024.

Cliff Larsen told 22News, “Unbelievable dance group from Boston, we’ve got some Beijing Opera which is an acquired taste, we’ve got this amazing face-changing guy who can do all this amazing stuff, we’ve got instruments you’ve never seen.”

The festival brought in hundreds from the region where everyone got to not only eat the tasty food but also take part in a tradition that honors and preserves Chinese cultural heritage. The festival also promotes Asian Americans’ involvement in all parts of the civil life of communities across the Commonwealth.
