SUTTON, Mass. (WWLP) – A person has died after they were hit by a vehicle in Sutton on Saturday night.
Car accident at intersection of School and Center St. in Chicopee
According to NBC Boston, a pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash on Route 146 North at Exit 13. The Massachusetts State Police reported that the pedestrian was taken to UMass Lakeside Hospital, where they died.
The pedestrian has not been identified, and police are investigating the cause of the crash.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) reported that the crash closed two lanes of Route 146 north, but has since reopened.
