SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) – The Smithfield Police Department announced Tuesday that officials had identified a driver and truck involved in a fatal hit-and-run. Police said 25-year-old Aliana Ciarcciarelli was killed Monday night after she fell off her bike and was hit by a tractor-trailer on Pleasant View Avenue in Smithfield.
