Newly Minted Millionaire: Worcester Man Has Sensible Plan For His $1M Payday

Jose Tejada Grullon won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery playing the “Bonus 100X” $10 scratch-off game.

He chose to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.

Grullon says he is going to invest the money.

He bought the ticket at O’Hara’s Wine & Liquors at 402 W. Boylston St. in Worcester. The store will get $10,000 for the sale.
