Massachusetts Voter Guide: Paul Frost vs. Terry Burke Dotson for state House

Republican Paul Frost, of Auburn, is seeking his 15th term in the state House of Representatives, representing the Seventh Worcester District. The district includes all of Auburn and Millbury, and parts of Charlton, Leicester and Oxford. He is facing a challenge from Terry Burke Dotson, an independent from Millbury who has run several times before.

In his 28 years in office, Frost says he has made it his mission to focus on what is best for the district he represents, regardless of party affiliation and loyalty.

“Meaningful initiatives must be supported,” Frost said.

He quotes the adage that all politics is local. “People depend on schools, police, fire, roads and bridges and the local library,” Frost said.

In that vein, Frost successfully brings funding back to his district from the State House on a regular basis. While not all the sums are munificent, he believes that every grant from state coffers saves municipalities from having to fund projects themselves.
