A regional Northeast grocer is reportedly shuttering seven stores in Massachusetts as part of a larger growth strategy its parent company is pursuing. Stop & Shop, a subsidiary of Ahold Delhaize USA, is closing down the Massachusetts locations permanently as of Thursday, Oct. 31, according to Boston.com.
