Costco currently operates 6 warehouses in Massachusetts. Early next year they will be adding another. The company website has announced that the new store will be located at 1600 Old Boston Post Road, Sharon. The 162,000 square foot facility will be part of a larger mixed use development. The Sharon Gallery project will also include an 80K sq. ft. grocery, retail and restaurant space, and 180 residential units.
Costco, headquartered in Issaquah, Washington, operates over 600 locations in the US. By far, the largest concentration of stores is in California where there are 140.
The Sharon, Mass. store is scheduled to open in March 2025.
