WORCESTER — Four people have been charged in the killing of a man who was shot in a parked vehicle on Dorchester Street, police said.
Three of the suspects were apprehended in Fitchburg Saturday morning, according to Worcester police. The search for the suspects involved the United States Marshals Service, state police and investigators from the Worcester, Fitchburg and Leominster police departments.
About 2:30 a.m. Dec. 16, police in Worcester responded to reports of gunshots on Dorchester Street. Officers found an unconscious man in a truck in the area of 59 Dorchester St.
The victim, 28, was transported by paramedics to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The arrests, announced by Worcester police, involved one juvenile. His identity was not released.
All four are charged with armed assault with intent to murder.
The three adults are identified as: Adrian Rodriguez, 33; Dylan Driscoll, 19; and Darius Perkins, 20. Rodriguez, Perkins and the juvenile were arrested in Fitchburg. Driscoll was picked up in Hardyston Township, New Jersey.
