Nearly a century: Gardner family’s legacy of service recognized at Mass Firefighting Academy

A Gardner family’s legacy of service was recently recognized at the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy in Stow.

Among the 33 firefighters to graduate from the 50-day Career Recruit Firefighting Training Program on Dec. 20 was John “Jack” Hulette. If his name seems familiar, that’s because Jack is following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather at the department.
