The good news when it comes to driving is that Massachusetts is the state with the worst drivers according to a new report from Reader’s Digest. The bad news is that New Jersey is one of the Top 5 worst states when it comes to driving.
Here’s how all states rank, according to LendingTree, from worst to best, when it comes to the number of problematic incidents per 1,000 drivers.
- Massachusetts: 61.1 incidents
- Rhode Island: 60.6 incidents
- California: 55 incidents
- District of Columbia: 54.6 incidents
- New Jersey: 45.8 incidents
- North Carolina: 39.6 incidents
- Washington: 37.4 incidents
- Maryland: 34.9 incidents
- North Dakota: 34.7 incidents
- Utah: 32.1 incidents
