On your radar: ‘Impactful’ weekend storm could bring heavy snow to Massachusetts

Keep those snow shovels handy! After light snow fell across Massachusetts on Thursday before transitioning to a wintry mix, the weekend is expected to bring a “more impactful” storm to the region.

Our next winter storm looks like it will move in on Saturday night, with the most snow accumulation happening between 10 p.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday, according to the Boston 25 Weather team’s latest blog post .

Meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz said on Thursday we’ll be on a winter storm watch starting Saturday night. In a post on X, the Chief wrote, “Storm likely hits from midnight to noon Sunday.”…
