A multi-state manhunt concluded earlier this month with the arrest of an Auburn man in Schenectady, New York, according to authorities. Auburn Police Department launched the search for Anthony Kline, 39, in late 2024, after he allegedly violated the terms of his release from a previous conviction. Officers obtained a warrant for his arrest, believing he had fled Massachusetts for New York.
Auburn detectives, who initially got a lead that Kline was in New York, narrowed their focus to Schenectady. Subsequently, they collaborated with local law enforcement in that region to track him down. A statement on the Auburn Police Department’s Facebook page detailed the cross-agency operation that culminated in Kline’s arrest on February 3, 2025.
