If you missed a chance to see the northern lights yesterday when they were widely spotted as far south as Massachusetts and even Connecticut, New Englanders might get a chance to see them again tonight depending on where you are.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Space Weather Prediction Center prediction map is showing that, per usual, the further north you are the better your chances, with Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont all firmly in the view line. Parts of Massachusetts are in the view line, including the northern, central and western parts of the state.
Northern Rhode Island and northern Connecticut are right on the view line, so it’s possible but the odds greatly improve by traveling north…
