It may be the first weekend of spring, but Massachusetts can expect the brief return of winter overnight into Monday morning.
A round of precipitation beginning after midnight Monday, coupled with cool surface temperatures around freezing, is set to bring snow to most of southern New England, including Massachusetts. Most parts of the state will see the snow flip to rain by mid-morning Monday, with little accumulation anticipated.
