Foster man accused of driving under the influence with child in the car

WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — A Foster man is facing charges of driving under the influence with a child in the vehicle following a reported hit and run accident Saturday night.

At 10:30 p.m. Saturday, troopers with the Rhode Island State Police charged Frank Campagnone, of Foster, for Duty to Stop in Accidents Resulting in Damage to Attended Vehicle as part of an investigation into a hit and run accident earlier in the night.

Warwick officers later took Campagnone into custody on the charge of Driving Under the Influence of Liquor with a Child Passenger under the Age of 12…
