Cape Cod in shock after once deported migrant child molester arrested by ICE

FALMOUTH, Mass. — A 53-year-old Brazilian national previously deported from the United States was arrested on Cape Cod last month and charged with seven sex crimes involving a child, federal authorities announced.

Ilma Leandro De Oliveira, who was living in the U.S. illegally, was taken into custody March 20 in Falmouth by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), along with agents from the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The arrest followed her March 18 arraignment in Falmouth District Court.
