Massachusetts man sentenced for trafficking firearms, including assault rifle

LITTLETON, Mass. (WWLP) – A man from Littleton was sentenced to prison in connection with selling four firearms, including an assault rifle, to a cooperating witness.

In a news release from the Department of Justice in Boston, 26-year-old Alan Robinson engaged in a controlled purchase with a cooperating witness to sell four firearms, which included two ghost guns, one of which was an assault rifle. The witness was prohibited from owning and operating firearms.

Officers obtained a search warrant for Robinson’s home and found several firearms and accessories, which included a ghost gun assault rifle. Additionally, they found approximately 3.3 kilograms of powdered cocaine within the residence. Robinson was arrested in November 2023.

Robinson pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, firearms trafficking, and knowingly and intentionally possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. On April 15th, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.
