Maine man accused of stealing car in Massachusetts, dragging victim as he sped off

A Maine man is accused of stealing a car at a gas station in Massachusetts over the weekend, and dragging the car’s owner as he drove off, before he was finally arrested in New Jersey.

Police say 32-year-old Dustin Zimmerman of Livermore Falls arrived at the gas station in Reading in a car he had already stolen in Maine.

He got out of that car and into the Reading man’s car and sped toward the highway. The victim held onto the mirror and was dragged before letting go…
