SHREWSBURY — A Worcester man was arrested Monday evening after police say he was found carrying a loaded firearm without a license at the White City Shopping Plaza, according to a statement from the Shrewsbury Police Department.
Around 7:48 p.m. on May 12, 2025, Officer Matthew Mattero was patrolling the White City Shopping Plaza at 50 Boston Turnpike when he observed a motorcyclist traveling erratically and also at a high rate of speed through the parking lot. The rider joined a group of motorcycles parked in front of Petco, prompting Officer Mattero to approach the group, police said.
