Tragedy strikes twice for Massachusetts mother as daughter fatally struck by train remembered as kind, funny

Tragedy has struck for a second time for a Massachusetts family after a 14-year-old girl was fatally struck by a Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority train in Worcester near the 100 block of Atlas Street on the Framingham/Worcester Line on Thursday.

According to multiple reports, MBTA Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan stated the preliminary investigation suggests the girl was positioned within the tracks’ gauge and was hit by the train, resulting in her death at the scene.

No foul play is suspected…
