Boys 14 and 16 pull gun on Worcester cabbie, police say

WORCESTER – 2 teenage boys have been arrested after allegedly threatening a Worcester cab driver with a gun over a fare dispute, police said Monday.

On Friday, July 4th, shortly before 5:30 p.m., officers responded to Uxbridge Street for a reported armed robbery.

The victim, a cab driver, told police he had picked up 2 juvenile males near Gardner and Main streets. When he stopped at Uxbridge Street and Green Hill Parkway and asked for payment, the passengers refused to pay, he said…
