Webster police are warning the public that they are getting more and more gun- and knife-related calls in recent weeks after responding to six such calls last week.

On June 28, Harrington Hospital called Webster police shortly before 10:40 a.m. to report that a patient had checked into the ER with several stab wounds, police said. Officers learned from the victim that they had been stabbed three times on Hartley Street by someone they knew.
Officers tried to find the suspect at an apartment, but were unsuccessful, police said. The suspect is expected to face charges at a later date, but as this was a domestic incident, no further information is being released.
June 29
On June 29, officers responded to a report of a fight on South Main Street shortly after 11:50 p.m., police said. At the scene, they found a female victim with minor injuries and learned that the suspects had run from the scene.
After checking the area for the suspects, officers spoke with the victim and learned that an argument had turned physical, police said. One suspect had pulled a large knife on the victim, and a second had hit her numerous times…
