WORCESTER, Mass. (WWLP) – A Worcester man has been indicted for murder in connection with a man found dead in Hubbardston in January.
The Worcester County District Attorney’s Office stated that on January 4, just before 10:00 a.m., members of the Hubbardston Police Department were called to the area of Brigham Street due to reports of a body discovered in the woods.

Officers located the body of a deceased man in the woods off Brigham Street. The victim was later identified as Mitchell Burke of Worcester. Hubbardston police, alongside Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County DA’s Office, began investigating the incident.
Law enforcement identified 32-year-old Ryan Wilcox of Worcester as a suspect in connection with Burke’s death. He was initially arraigned on January 6 in Worcester District Court on one count each of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing bodily injury, assault with a dangerous weapon, and armed assault with intent to murder…
