(NewsNation) — A Massachusetts grand juror accused of leaking sealed federal grand jury information in the Karen Read case has agreed to a plea deal and will avoid jail time.
Jessica M. Leslie, 34, was charged with one count of criminal contempt on July 11, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts.
Under the deal, Leslie will receive a one-day sentence, for which she will be credited with time served, along with two years of probation, according to court documents. She must also pay a mandatory $100 special assessment…
