WEBSTER, Mass. – A large lizard remains on the loose in the area of Webster, Massachusetts and Northeast Connecticut. Following the first reported possible sighting of the Asian Water Monitor, the chief of Webster Police said the search is growing in popularity and law enforcement.
“It’s kind of the unofficial mascot of Summer ’25 so far,” Shaw said.
