Massachusetts Police Dismantle Drug Ring, Tavares Brothers Arrested for Alleged Fentanyl and Cocaine Trafficking in Weymouth

In the shadows of the evening on a routine Monday, law enforcement officers from Massachusetts State Police and the Weymouth Police Department coordinated an intricate sting operation, which culminated in the apprehension of two brothers, Elijah and Isaiah Tavares, for their alleged involvement in fentanyl and cocaine trafficking across the state.

According to a social media post by the Massachusetts State Police, the Tavares brothers were caught at a Weymouth apartment complex with Elijah emerging from the front door, resisting arrest, struggled before he was detained with narcotics ready for distribution and Isaiah was caught with over 1 kilogram of fentanyl concealed in his sweatshirt upon exiting the rear door of the same residence.
