WORCESTER, Mass. — It’s not often you find an oyster pearl, especially at a Worcester restaurant about 80 miles from the ocean.
“It was a Sunday lunch. We had a good little crowd in here,” Green Island Oyster manager Dana Porter said. We had a very nice couple that was sitting at this table, and one of the bartenders called me over and told me that they had found a pearl in their oyster.”
