More Fruits & Veggies for Massachusetts Families: HIP Program Restores Enhanced Benefits

In a move that will benefit both Massachusetts families and local farmers, the Healey-Driscoll Administration announced that the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) will return to its tiered benefit structure starting September 1, 2025. “HIP helps low-income SNAP households get more fruits and vegetables at participating local farms by adding state funds to eligible EBT card purchases, up to a monthly limit,” explains the press release.
