Rain showers and thunderstorms are expected to move across Massachusetts on Sunday, Aug. 17, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather events are expected to occur during the afternoon and evening as a cold front crosses the region.
“Cooler/below normal temperatures follow for much of the upcoming work week with comfortable humidity,” the service reports. “Dry weather dominates next week … but some wet weather is possible in the late Tuesday through Thursday time frame.”…
