Worcester showed major love to hometown hero Joyner Lucas this past weekend. On Sunday, Aug. 17 — which also happened to be his 37th birthday — the city officially renamed a section of Dewey Street “Joyner Lucas Avenue,” the block he grew up on.
The recognition, championed by City Council Vice Chairman Khrystian King after a request from Demarr Langford, was described by the city as a “deeply personal milestone” for Joyner.
