Narcotics Packaged for Sale Found in Worcester Drug Arrest

WORCESTER – A routine patrol led Worcester Police to a drug arrest outside a Main Street McDonald’s on Friday morning after a disturbance was reported.

At about 11:35 a.m. on August 29, officers were flagged down by a citizen who reported suspicious activity and possible drug use at the fast-food restaurant. Police made contact with a man and a woman at the scene. Both consented to a search, according to police.

Officers discovered nine baggies of crack cocaine, a bag of heroin, and 19 Gabapentin pills on the woman, identified as 37-year-old Charlene Brooks of Worcester. Police said the narcotics were packaged in small, individual quantities consistent with drug distribution…
