The Green-Rainbow Party of Massachusetts will convene on October 4 in Worcester to adopt an updated party platform, marking its second major gathering of 2025. The platform convention, set at the Friends Meeting House, will include a potluck and is open to registered party members who register by September 20.
The party released a revised draft platform on July 17 and has since solicited member input, which will shape the final version presented for approval. Describing the document as a “new horizon,” the party emphasized its goal of being “the best electoral option for the people and planet.”
Under party bylaws, platform amendments are usually handled at the annual state convention, though additional conventions may be called if supported by two-thirds of the State Committee or recognized caucuses.
