WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester is preparing for a busy weekend with the Pride Festival and Breakaway Music Festival bringing thousands of people to the city.
While a city of Worcester’s size is no stranger to multiple large-scale events happening on the same weekend, Sgt. Elise Miranda of the Worcester Police Department said it’s a unique situation, and the two festivals aren’t the only draw.
