AUBURN, Mass. (WTNH) — Two shoplifting suspects, one of whom is a New Haven resident, were caught after police said they stopped at a Wendy’s drive-thru following the reported theft.
According to the Auburn Police Department, at around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, an employee of a TJ Maxx clothing store reported that two people had stolen more then $2,000 worth of merchandise before leaving the area in a black Ford Edge with Connecticut tags.

After the reported theft, an officer on duty saw a car matching the suspect vehicle’s description in the drive-thru line of a Wendy’s. More officers responded to the scene and found more than $2,000 worth of stolen merchandise inside the car, as well as items believed to have been stolen from other stores, according to police.
The two suspects, 24-year-lld Tynaja Williams of New Haven and 38-year-old Dominique Marion of Worcester, Mass., were arrested and charged with larceny of over $1,200 and conspiracy. Police said they may face more charges in other jurisdictions as well…
