Two Webster men arrested after loaded Glock with extended magazine found in Auburn traffic stop

AUBURN — On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Lieutenant Michael Tarckini Jr. of the Auburn Police Department was on patrol when he noticed a car driving along Southbridge Street without its headlights on.

According to a statement from the Auburn Police Department, Lieutenant Tarckini initiated a motor vehicle stop, and as he approached the vehicle, one of the occupants was seen frantically reaching toward the floorboard — behavior he considered suspicious.

Fearing the occupant may have been reaching for a weapon, Lieutenant Tarckini ordered him to stop and requested backup.
