WORCESTER — Two Worcester men are facing firearms charges after a shooting incident on Boys & Girls Club Way Thursday evening left one of them injured.
According to a statement from the Worcester Police Department, at approximately 5:40 p.m. on September 25, 2025, police and members of the department’s Crime Gun Intelligence Unit responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area. Upon arrival, officers found a firearm and other evidence at the scene. A bullet hole was discovered in the rear passenger side door of a vehicle, and another was located in the front window of a nearby apartment.
While officers were responding to the scene, they spotted a man walking on Hammond Street who immediately began running through traffic toward Canterbury Street, while clutching his waistband. Police caught up with him and took him into custody…
