BRENTWOOD — The two men charged with allegedly firing guns at Hampton Beach in two separate incidents in June were indicted this month on multiple felony charges each by a Rockingham County grand jury.
Divaris Ojani Ruiz, 18, of Manchester, and Connor Matthew Knowles, 22, of Northborough, Massachusetts, face a total of 11 felony charges and possibly dozens of years in prison if convicted, for their alleged unrelated actions on the evenings of June 24 and June 5, respectively. Both are charged with firing handguns into crowds at Hampton Beach.
Ruiz is facing eight felony charges, four are special felonies with enhanced sentencing, which relate to crimes involving the use of firearms. They carry a sentence of up to 20 years each in state prison, if convicted. He is also charged with four Class B felonies, which, upon conviction, each carry a maximum sentence of seven years…
