22 firefighters graduate from Massachusetts Fire Academy

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Twenty-two firefighters graduated from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy’s 50-day Career Recruit Firefighting Training Program Friday, as announced by State Fire Marshal Jon M. Davine.

The graduates, who represent fire departments from across the state, completed hundreds of hours of training to gain the physical, mental, and technical skills necessary for their roles. The program prepares them to meet national standards and equips them to handle a wide range of emergencies.
